As a result of our DDoS hardening (due to the fact that Pterodactyl uses NAT and contrack) we decided to block incoming ICMP requests. This means that you won't be able to do a ping or traceroute / MTR to your server. This may be an inconvenience to some users, however, it was of vital importance that we blocked this protocol to protect our nodes. You will still be able to see the ping of your server using the game client(s) you use to connect to it. We hope this information serves to explain our decision.
